Amnesty International: Chop Pencils

Note

Around X-mas last year, Saatchi & Saatchi placed chopsticks that are actually pencils at Chinese restaurants encouraging people to write to the Chinese government rejecting torture. A nice gesture to raise awareness and drive activism about human rights violations in China with an emphasis on prisoners of conscience, torture and executions.

Text on the package: Tuck under thumb and hold firmly. Write the Chinese government to help end torture. Take further action at amnesty.org/china. Don’t let human rights violations by the Chinese government give China a bad name.
